![]() ![]() ![]() No need to have 1000 different mobs with 1000 different weaknesses in every biome. So you're need to carry a blunt weapon with every element, a slash weapon with every element, a pierce weapon with every element. Now imagine if shaman Fuling was only weak to ice and spear Fulings were arrest to poison and sword fulings were weak to spirit and brute fuling were weak to fire and not only that, they'd all have their individual DAMAGE type weakness. Right now in the plains, I have to fight skeletons, Fulings, deathskitos and Lox sometimes all at the same time. And yes, you often do have to fight multiple different types of mobs at the same time. This game isn't made for quick weapon swapping. I don't want to carry around a spirit sword for undead mobs and a fire sword for ice based mobs and a frost sword for fire based mobs, etc. Meaning you'd need to carry a weapon that hurts the current biome mobs + a different weapon for each damage type for each mob that comes from other biomes. The only way it stays relevant is if the enemies get stronger so you need Spirit damage to defeat them effectively. What you are suggesting is making stronger versions of enemies to make Spirit damage (and other types of damage) relevant in later biomes. Skeletons appear everywhere but they are still just as weak and you don't need Spirit to kill them. Hopefully ideas similar to these could remix elemental resistances we see, and allow some of the weapons that rapidly become obsolete return to usefulness? Maybe tar can be used for higher-tier fire arrows that stack up to frost or poison arrows? Or tar and flametal flaming weapons? A return of some of the Mountain enemies? Plus a couple other cold-themed enemies. Ashlands is just going to be fire creatures all the time.Maybe if the giants are vulnerable to poison so poison weapons have a purpose post-Plains? I mean, they clearly are being killed by the presumed spiders? Since there's so many giant skulls in the Mistlands? Meanwhile the spiders would presumably resist poison and be extra vulnerable to crushing and fire cause bugs get splatted or kill it with fire? I'd assume that they'll not actually be the same faction. Obviously Mistlands is telegraphing giant spiders and possibly giants of some sort.Maybe when using their bows they can use bronze-tier / iron-tier fire arrows? No specific resistances or weaknesses. They'll just be doing blunt/slash/piercing. A couple different svartalfr warbands in the ocean, 2 or 3 brigands in karve-sized boats once you unlock bronze, armed with bronze-tier attacks, looking like they're carrying bronze swords/axes and bucklers with fine bows as alternate attacks or a spear, and dragonboat-sized boats with teams of 4 to 6 and armed with iron tier once the swamp key is acquired (in solo play) or 6 to 12 svartalfr with iron tier attacks in any kind of multiplay server.Give it an alternate attack similar to the Greydwarf shaman for it's crop-blighting breath, and you're done! All the usual undead weaknesses! Plus weak to frost cause they're aquatic demons! A nuckelavee that wanders the Plains at night and Mistlands along coastal areas - obviously it's Undead faction as it would basically be a half-way point between a ghost and a draugr, and armed with an ancient spear-like lance or eerily distended, clawed arms.If they're like tropical lizard tiny dragons, they could be vulnerable to cold, resistant to poison. A drake variant that's same enemy faction as mountain drakes, except it spits poison, maybe as an Ocean enemy, wherever there's small islands and atolls.Similar to how some Skeletons appear in Black Forest at points of interest / crypt entrances, it would be nice to see some of the following ideas taken up to stop certain classes of damage just suddenly being obsolete the moment you get them: Once this has been crafted all the player has to do is put Black Metal Scraps inside along with a fuel source to create Black Metal Bars. What I would like to see that could help with this pre-obsolescence: More cross-over enemies. They will need to get their hands on 20 pieces of Stone, five Surtling Cores, 10 Iron Bars, twenty Fine Wood, and the Artisan Table. Once players have gotten their hands on some Black Metal Scraps they will then need to craft themselves a Blast Furnace, which is the only station capable of crafting Black Metal Bars. These creatures can only be found in the Plains region, which most players won't come across until late in the game. Fighting more than one Fuling at a time is a death wish, so players should just flee if they get themselves in trouble. Originally a black metal band, a major stylistic shift to crust punk. Then if it all possible they will want to sneak up and dispatch any that they come across one at a time. Valheim Genshin Impact Minecraft Pokimane Halo Infinite Call of Duty: Warzone Path. Before even thinking about hunting down Fulings, players will want to get their hands on a full set of Iron Armor as well as the best weapons available to them. ![]()
